Airports in Aruba for Private Jets

When flying privately to Aruba, your flight will arrive at Queen Beatrix International Airport (AUA), the main gateway to the island of Aruba. The runway is long enough to accommodate nearly any size aircraft, including VIP airliners for group charter flights.

Aruba’s airport offers a private FBO terminal to get you through the airport quickly and discreetly. Each passenger and crew member must clear Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine (CIQ) in Aruba after every landing and departure, which is handled at the Fixed-Base Operator (FBO). This includes tech stops as well. The process takes up to 15-30 minutes, and after completion, a crew member must accompany passengers through customs.

The Queen Beatrix International Airport offers U.S. Border Pre-clearance facilities, and a private aircraft terminal opened in 2007.

Getting In

Schengen freedom of movement laws doesn’t apply in Aruba, as the island exists outside the right to abode laws of the Schengen Area. Dutch nationals and expatriates can visit for up to 6 months without a visa.

Visitors from the following countries and territories can visit Aruba visa-free for 30 – 60 days.

European Union/European Free Trade Association countries, Albania, Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Australia, Bahamas, Belize, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil. Brunei, Canada, Chile,Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Grenada, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, Macau, Macedonia, Malaysia, Mauritius, Mexico, Moldova, Montenegro, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, San Marino, Serbia, Seychelles, Singapore, Suriname, South Korea, Taiwan, Trinidad and Tobago, United Arab Emirates, United States, Vatican City, and Venezuela. Visitors from British Overseas Territories must follow the same visa exempt policy as the other countries mentioned.

Citizens of Canada, European Netherlands, Ireland, Saint Martin, Schengen countries, United States and the United Kingdom holding a valid residence permit from the country/territory they reside in are exempt from the visa requirement; holders of an official United Nations Laissez-Passer are exempt as well.

The Antilla

Ayo and Casibari Rock Formations
Address: Inland between the Natural Bridge and Oranjestad, near Aya Village
See the wonders of nature in these rock formations, may of which are still unexplained. The Ayo and Casibari Rock Formations are reddish brown in color, and although they have erupted from the grounds of a mostly sandy island, they have taken interesting shapes, some resembling birds of even dragons.
Mangel Halto Beach

A great way to spend time with the kids, the Mangel Halto Beach has warm water and gentle waves. There are restaurants and facilities nearby in case someone gets hungry or needs to use the bathroom. The beautiful blue waters make it a great chance to snorkel and watch the marine life pass by.
Natural Pool
Address: Windward Coast, Noord, Aruba
You can take a tour to this natural pool, or you can rent a 4×4 Jeep and make the off-road trip yourself. It is a very exciting to make drive over, although bumpy, and once you make it to the pool, cooling off is a wonderful reward. However, make sure to wear slip-resistant shoes, as there are some jagged and slippery rocks around the waters.
